Cause of Establishment : The Diwan was a devotee of Lord Krishna in his childhood from. The idol worshipped in this temple is that of Bal Krishna or childhood form of Lord Krishna. The worship is performed in the tradition of shri Vallabha Vaishnava sect. This is called Ashtayam Pooja or worship rendered 8 times in a day from early morning to sleeping time.

Jhoola Utsava or Swing Festival, Annakuta and Patotsava are the special occasion. Since the deity is a child, therefore sweet, delicious Bhog (food) is prepared for the deity to suit his childhood preference as is the tradition of Shri Vallabha cult of Vaishnavas.
